    Babcock University Journal of Social Work, and Human Services is a new, bi-annual Journal established by the Department of Social Work, Veronica Adeleke School of Social Sciences, Babcock University, Ilisan -Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. It publishes only papers and reviews that make distinct and original contribution to studies in Social Work, the humanities and related discourses and approved by Editorial Board.

  • Babcock Business and Marketing Review

    The Babcock Business & Marketing Review (BBMR) is an international journal that disseminates high-quality academic research articles on all areas of

    Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Business Economics, Operations Research, Production Management, tourism and other related fields.  

    Papers published in the BBMR cover theoretical, methodological and empirical studies spanning a broad range of disciplines and perspectives. The emphasis is on articles of the highest quality in the field of enquiry, as the Journal endeavours to provide a critical forum for world-class contributions that make an impact amongst stakeholders.

    This refereed Journal is relevant to academics, policymakers, and analysts in government and business who seek to understand areas in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship by drawing upon theoretically and empirically informed evidence.

    Peer review policy

    All BBMR manuscripts are screened initially by the Editor-in-Chief and Editor. Only those papers that meet the scientific and editorial standards and align with the aims and scope of the BBMR will be sent for double-blind peer review. Such papers will be sent to at least two expert reviewers for full review. The BBMR adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy, in which the identity of both reviewers and author(s) are always concealed from both parties.

  • Babcock Journal of Social Sciences

    The Babcock Journal of the Social Sciences (BJSS) is the flagship journal of the Veronica Adeleke School of Social Sciences at Babcock University, Nigeria. BJSS publishes peer-reviewed, original articles that make significant contributions to the intellectual remit of the social sciences broadly defined. The journal is published twice a year, and is currently in its 16th edition, having been published continuously since 2003. The BJSS, previously known as the Babcock Journal of Management and Social Sciences, is published online and open access in order to expand submission from, and dissemination to a global audience. BJSS remains committed to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct in the management of the journal.

    MISSION STATEMENT

    To create an intellectual platform for promoting cutting-edge academic research in the social sciences, broadly defined, with emphasis on interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research that are theoretically sophisticated, methodologically rigorous and public interest-focused and solutions-based. The overarching objective is to contribute qualitatively to intellectual debates, national discourse, public policy, national development, and global progress for all humanity.
